Have you ever noticed that the year goes by in a blur of one holiday celebration mixed into the next so there's always something to look forward to and something to be excited about it? I didn't really appreciate this until this year with the toddlers being so excited about EVERYTHING! They even like silly bunny shapes made out of cheese. We started Easter off with a visit from some bunnies thanks to Brooke, one of the boys' babysitters. We talked about it for the week before the visit. When the day finally came, the boys knew something was up.
Here they are when the cage got set up:
What does Brooke have in the box?
Bunnies!
Goober was ecstatic...usually he is a little more hesitant around animals. He was all over these bunnies though.Feeding the bunnies some treats.

Goober in the cage:
Goober playing show and tell with the bunnies. He brought them a book and their life-size daschund toy. I think Dashy scared the bunnies. No don't go!
Bye bye Brooke and bunnies:
Great Auntie Pearl and my cousin L also stopped in for a visit over Easter weekend. We didn't get many pictures but we did manage to get one of L with her hands full. And we got pictures of the boys in the awesome Olympic towels Great Auntie Pearl brought. Thanks a ton-here's Miga!
And Quatchi....
We continued the festivities with a trip to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa J for their Bunny Bounce. It was freezing cold so we had a short hunt but it was so neat to see the boys hunt for eggs with other toddlers.
One of the best things about twins is that there is plenty of toddler to go around when people visit. Grandpa J looks more comfortable in this photo
than in this one where Goober is trying to rip his face off...er I mean hug his head nicely and help Grandpa smile.
Group shot with the Easter Bunny. I always pictured him a little plumper with all those candy filled eggs he leaves. There were no tears though so maybe there is hope for Santa this year.
We wrapped our Easter weekend up with a visit from the Easter Bunny on Sunday morning. The boys were quite adept at finding eggs at this point and this year the Easter Bunny snuck some m and m's in with the bunny ohs and other healthy treats. YUM! We also had a lovely visit with Grandma and Grandpa P but no pics so we'll just have to shout out a hello and make sure we get some next time! (Grandpa P-please send pics!) Here is one tired Goober after all the Easter festivities. (He is actual faking-this is his nene face.)
Happy Easter! I think this one was my best one yet:)
